Continue to a lacquerware / Silk factories/shops and Handmade Workshops where the skillful artisans will explain and show you the whole interesting and complicated process to produce a beautiful lacquerware from wood, egg shell, oyster shell, lacquer, and sewing, embroidering the pictures and long-dress (Ao Dai)... you will see the handicraftmen working on the products and the collections of excellent lacquerwares and Ao Dai / longdress at these Workshops too. (B) Day 3: HO CHI MINH CITY - CU CHI TUNNELS (by A/C car 70km, your bicycle) Morning drive straight to Cu Chi Tunnels located at the threshold of Saigon and adjacent to the revolutionary base, played an important role in the two wars of resistance against French and American. Before checking into hotel, discover the Datanla Waterfall, situated in the middle of Prenn Mountain Pass. The cascading waterfalls down to the ground before disappearing again through layer after layer of marble lying scattered in a small stream. Check-in and refreshment. Evening you can promenade along Xuan Huong Lake in the tranquil and the romantic space. Overnight in Dalat. (B) Day 10: DALAT TREKKING BIKING FULLDAY TOUR (by A/C car, jeep, your bicycle) After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy full day for enjoying a delighted trekking-outing, ride to Langbiang Mountain, then take the climbing 4 wheels to the second peak of Lang Biang mountain. Finally you can ride and take a cable car to see the panorama of Dalat. Back to hotel for free time and a good night. Overnight in Dalat. (B) Day 11: DALAT - NHA TRANG (by A/C car 215km, your bicycle) After breakfast at the hotel, leave Dalat for Nha Trang coastal city. The trip takes visitors crossing Ngoan Muc Pass with an imposing natural picture. The scenery of mountains and forests follow each other without end after each sinuous section of the pass makes you giving endless commendation. You have stop to visit a famous Hinduism tower nearly one thousand years old of Chams: Po Klong Garai. Then visit Hoa Lai tower of Chams built early the 9th century. Travel by bicycle along the seaside to visit Hon Chong Promontory, is a small crescent shaped bay, a marble peninsula with massive rock laying on top once together, continuing forward to the north direction and along seaside, you will see a masterpiece of Nature when viewing the unspoiled beaches and sheer cliffs, ride along the boardwalk through Nha Trang town. Then boat cruises will take you to offshore islands for sightseeing and seabathing at Mun, Tam islands, and it is very interesting when you enjoy snorkeling under the turquoise water to view the impressive world of fish and coral in the ocean. (B, L) Day 13: NHA TRANG - DANANG - HOI AN (by A/C car 35km, plane) Today, free time till check out, transfer to the airport for morning flight to Da Nang City, an ancient land closely connected with cultural traditions, mixing the famous beautiful sites, the white sand beaches. Meet at the airport then drive direct from the airport to visit the Museum of Cham Sculpture, began in 1915. This is the only museum dedicated to preserving the unique Champa sculptural heritage in South East Asia. There are about 300 items of sculpture exhibited here. Most of them are original works carved in sandstone, some are terracotta. Items exhibited include altars statues and decorations from Cham towers and palaces. The statues include the Gods Siva Vishnu Brahma as well as the brahmanists Buddhas dancers and musicians elephants lions the holy cow Nandin and the holy bird Garuda. These date from the 7th century to the 15th century. Then to Hoi An ancient town, lies on the banks of the Thu Bon River, 30 km south of Danang, has a distinct Chinese atmosphere with low, tile-roofed houses and narrow streets; the original structure of some of these streets still remains almost intact. Occupied by early western traders, Hoi An was one of the major trading centers of Southeast Asia in the 16th century. All the houses were made of rare wood, decorated with lacquered boards and panels engraved with Chinese characters. Pillars were also carved with ornamental designs. Afternoon enjoy a walking tour, the best way to discover Hoian ancient town, visit The Japanese Covered Bridge where retains a harmony of architectural styles, combining Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese cultural characteristics. Ong Pagoda is one of the typical pagodas in Hoi An's old quarter, built in 1653 and is dedicated to Quan Thanh De Quan (Quan Van Truong). Fukienese Assembly Hall was built in 1692 by Chinese Phuoc Kien merchants, is architecturally unique with its artistic ornaments and beautiful statues, Chinese architectural style combined with Vietnamese workmanship has enriched it with Hoi An’s cultural character. Tan Ky Ancient House, constructed almost two centuries ago as the house of a Vietnamese merchant. It has always been lovingly preserved and now looks almost exactly as it did in the early 19th century, Hand-made Silk workshop as a last destination. Check-in and free time. In the evening, you can take a time to linger on the quiet roads in ancient town and communicate with local people, so you will gradually feel Hoi An with its unique traditional characters and history. (B) Day 14: HOI AN - DA NANG - HOI AN (by bicycle 35km) After breakfast, bike to visit the stone carving villages at Marble Mountains, where visitors will see the skilful artisans working on the products of marble / granite and visitors can choose a collection of excellent stone products for souvenir. Afternoon, free leisure in Hoi An ancient town. Overnight in Hoi An. (B) Day 15: HOI AN - DA NANG - HUE (by A/C car 135km, your bicycle) This morning, depart to Hue Royal City - the Complex of Monuments, the heart of central Vietnam served as Vietnam’s political capital 1802 to 1945 under the 13 emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty and was recognized as the World Cultural Heritage Site. Hue - has been the Capital of a unified Vietnam, built at about the beginning of the 19th century, combines the oriental philosophy with the traditions of Vietnam. Intimately mingled with the natural environment, the beauty and special richness of the architecture and decorative art of the building are an original image of the Vietnamese monarchy at its most prosperous period. The trip passes many spectacular scenarios along the National Highway 1, via the breathing Hai Van Pass, literal meaning is "Sea and Cloud", is the highest and longest pass in Vietnam with the north- south national highway zigzagging through it for almost 20 km. Reaching to a height of 496 m above sea level the pass seems to be lost in the clouds almost all of the time. In the 15th century King Le Thanh Ton when stopping here to admire the dreamy and majestic scene of sky cloud and sea called it "De Nhat Hung Quan" (the First Grandiose Landscape of the country). From the highest point of the pass you get a bird's eye view of the rich lowlands encircling the city of Danang with its image reflected on the waters of Han River. To the south and at the foot of the mountain lies the Nam O seashore where there is a fine beach with gentle waves and fishing boats crowding the water front. Photo-stop somewhere in the Pass, get your perfect pictures of Lang Co beach, a spectacular landscape & peaceful fishing hamlet. Now, you spend time strolling around the mighty Imperial City, built in 1805 by French architect Vauban comprising three sections: the Royal Citadel, the Imperial Enclosure and the Forbidden Purple City, here you will sightsee and learn about history of the citadel as well as about the last Dynasty of Vietnam through its wonders Noontime gate, Harmonized palace, Nine Dynasty Urns, Hien Lam Cac, Royal Galary...Check-in and free evening for individual exploring in dreamlike Hue. (B) Day 16: HUE CITY TOUR (by A/C car, your bicycle, motor-boat) Morning, enjoy bicycle tour to visit King Tu Duc Tomb, also called Tomb of Modesty, enclosed by a thick wall that runs up and down the hills. Afternoon you will visit and do shopping at the busy market of Dong Ba, take your time to viewing, happy communicate with the jolly salesgirls who are quite well on speaking foreign languages. Hanoi has also been known as one of the most beautiful cities in Asia with many calm lakes, the shaded boulevards, and verdant public parks. (B) Day 19: NINH BINH - HALONG BAY (by A/C car 186km, your bicycle, junk) This morning, drive straight up to Halong Bay. Ha Long Bay is constituted by 3000 small and big islands of all shapes. After breakfast and a moment to refresh at a local restaurant in Lao Cai, then transfer directly to Bac Ha, take time to discover spectacular mountainy sceneries along the mountain roads. Your vehicle will drive along the exciting curvy road, surrounded by steep mountains to discover the most famous market of the region – Bac Ha. Arrival and visit Bac Ha colourful market (open on Sunday only). Here you can meet all the different minority ethnic groups of the region: Hmongs, Dzao, Tay, Thai, Nung. The colorful market is well known for its various handicraft objects. There are many trees around Bac Ha, and in the spring the countryside is white with blossoms. Bac Ha hosts the biggest fair near the mountainous highlands and the Chinese border. It is a trading centre and meeting place for couples, friends, and relatives, and it is a typical weekly activity for the H’Mong and other minority groups living in the surroundings. Local products for sale or barter are carried on horseback. A short walk to Na Hoi Tho Hamlet to visit the old palace of H’mong King - Hoang Yen Chao Castle, just 300m from Bac Ha Market, its network of walls, bunkers, and battlements were reinforced by a mortar mixed with sugar molasses. In a distance, the white castle was built on between 1914 and 1921 jutting out from the valley looks imposing and majestic. Transfer back to main road and come-down in Trung Do, a short treeking to Tay minority village, the road will cross into lovey cottage roofs, rocky-cliffs, rice-fileds, rivullts, and bendy country lanes, you will stroll towards the Chay riverbank, then take a motor steel-boat downstream to Bao Nhai. Sightseeings alongside Chay River is quite particular interesting and typical of the distant mountainous region. Arrive Bao Nhai then overland transfer to Sapa for overnight. Overnight in Sapa. (B) Day 22: SAPA (by A/C car, trekking) Sapa Town, a small market town perched dramatically on the western edge of a high plateaufacing the hazyblue peak of Fan Si Pan Mountain. The refreshing climate and vaguely Alpine landscape struck a nostalgic chord with European visitors. On 1,600 meters above sea level, is the kingdom of colourful Orchirds, a big summer resort, the homeland of Nung, Dao, Tay, Cao Lan, Paxi, and Xa Phong minorities. Sapa’s invigorating air is a real tonic after the dusty plains, but cold nights make warm clothes essential throughout the year. After breakfast, you will enjoy trekking to Lao Chai village through a bamboo jungle to visit the Tay and Black H'Mong tribes dressing in the traditional style that is unique to the Northern region. Passing rice paddies before you get to the village where you have a chance to visit the Catholic Church of the Black H'Mong. Then keep going along the bottom of the Sapa valley to get to Ta Van village (the Dzay and Black H'Mong tribes), which is supposed to be the most beautiful place in the area. Proceeding to visit Sapa Ancient Rock Field, this 8sq.km-area of remains consists of large multi-grade rocks engraved with ancient images. The first exploration research, in 1925, recorded that there were 200 stones of various dimensions concentrated in the area.(Well-prepared gumboots or trekking shoes for hours trekking (approx 5km) through terraced paddy fields). Afternoon, visit Ham Rong Mountain which is an attractive tourist area in the center of Sapa Townlet. Arriving to Ham Rong, you have chances to climb up the San May (Cloud Yard) to enjoy the panorama of Sapa Townlet, visit the orchid gardens with beautiful and colorful flowers. In addition, Ham Rong Mountain has numerous caves and stones in extraordinary shapes. Transfer towards the road to Lai Chau town, stop for photo and contemplate the imposing view of Fan Si Pan Peak, there is 3,143 meters high, windy, mountain breeze, clouded…and you ! Enjoy the memorable moments of the life then transfer back to visit Silver waterfall in the late afternoon. Return to your hotel and time of rest. Overnight in Sapa. (B) Day 23: SAPA - LAO CAI (by A/C car 38km, trekking) - HANOI(by A/C car, train) Morning enjoy a walking tour to visit the most lively context of Sapa, visit Sapa Market, are crowded and merry, and are especially attractive to visitors. Minority groups come here to exchange and trade goods and products, proceeding to Sapa Church – as an impress mark, timing witness of this solitary mountain region. After that, start trekking to CatCat village (12 km from Sapa Townlet), is an age-old village of H'Mong ethnic group remaining unique customs, including the custom of “pulling wife”, and practices that are lots in other villages, live Red Dao, black Hmong minorities. Walk inside the village to visit Red Dao, black Hmong houses and experience the daily lives to understand better their culture and customs. Taphin village (15 km from Sapa) where live Red Dao, black Hmong minorities. Drive directly to Lao Cai Railway Station for a night train ETD 20:15. Enjoy your night in an A/C cabin with solf-beds. Overnight on train. (B) Day 24: HANOI & DEPARTURE (by A/C car) The train arrives at Hanoi Railway Station ETA 05:30AM. Transfer to a hotel’s restaurant for breakfast and refreshing.
