DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN YANGON (by A/C car) Arrival in Yangon, warm welcome to everybody, a moment of courtesy meeting then self-introduce with tour guide in the meeting point's Yangon Airport. Yangon has been the capital of Myanmar since the middle of the 19th century when the British transformed it into their administrative centre of Further India. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the most fascinating capitals of South East Asia. Transfer to hotel for check in and free at leisure. Please note that standard check in time is 14.00, check out at 12.00. Early check in or late check-out is subject to room availability. Hotel would probably guarantee early check in or late checkout as an extra surcharge on depend to the rooming’s status at that time. In the evening, dinner at Karaweik Restaurant with culture show. DAY 2: YANGON Full day (by A/C car)Breakfast at the hotel. A full day tour to discover the colourful capital of Myanmar with a close looks at the local life of this historical city. Tour takes you to Sule Pagoda in the middle of the city, walk around to see the Mahabandoola Park, the colonial courthouse and the city hall and then visit the bustling Yangon harbour. Continue to Yangon’s oldest Chinese Temple, Kheng Hock Keong in ChinaTown. Afternoon, enjoy sightseeing with visit to Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda which is revered as one of the biggest reclining Buddha image in Myanmar. Then continue visit to the Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the world’s most spectacular religious monuments, will conclude today's sightseeing tour of this picturesque Garden City. The golden dome of the Shwedagon Pagoda rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Finally, enjoy photographing with the great back view of the scenic Royal Lake. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Overnight in Yangon. (B, L, D)
DAY 3: YANGON - BAGO (by A/C car) After breakfast at the hotel, leave Yangon and enjoy a scenic journey by road to Bago. 80km to the north west of Yangon, is an ancient capital of a former Mon kingdom dating back to the 6th century. Sightseeing in Bago includes the beautiful 55 metre long reclining Buddha, Shwethalyaung, and the Mon style Shwemawdaw Pagoda, one of the most venerated in Myanmar. Its spire stands 114m high and is taller even than the Shwedagon Pagoda. Also visit the well-restored former palace Kamboza Thadi. End the tour of Bago with a walk around the colourful Bago Market. On the way back to Yangon, visit the Allied War Cemetery near Htaukkyan, the final resting place for over 27,000 allied soldiers, and also visit a local woven bamboo factory. Drive back to hotel and free at leisure for your own activities. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Overnight in Yangon. (B, L, D)
DAY 4: YANGON & DEPARTURE (by A/C car) This morning, after breakfast, check out then transfer to the airport for flight back home. It’s timely; you have to say Good-Bye Myanmar.
