ARRIVAL IN SIEM REAP

Welcome to Siem Reap. Special welcome by Cambodian girls wearing in traditional clothes all warmly with colourful garlands, cold water and wet handkerchiefs to everybody, a moment of courtesy meeting then self-introduce with Indochina Incentive House's representative and tour guides in the meeting point's Siem Reap airport.

Siem Reap - The Cradle of Angkor Civilization - Where Cambodian were Born, this is also a famous Archaeological City, as named as one of the seven greatest architectural wonders of the World. Covering approx 600 sq km, it contains more than 100 fabulous ancient monuments and over dozen major compound Temples, which were built during the most splendid Era of the Khmer Dynasty between the 9th – 13th century and were the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire.

Luggage Procedure: The suitcases and not-handcaring Luggages would be leaved and grouped in a separate area of meeting point's airport, they will be transferred with separate truck to the hotel and will be registered to your rooms once. Each passenger must identify his baggages before leaving sending to the belts.

Our experienced tour guide will transmit you the most lovely aspects of Angkor Temples - during 25' by coach from the Airport to your hotel in the centre of town. Express check-in with welcome-drink and room-keys are being available. Then take your time to have a rest after a long flight.

Followed-up is a visit to the floating village of the Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a traditional wooden boat for a ride on the Tonle Sap rivers, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia and the largest in Asia, its extraordinary bio-diversity and hydrology make it an ecological wonder of the world, offer visitors an insight into the old tradition of riparian life and natural splendor of Cambodia. Followed up, visit to "Les Artisans d'Angkor – Chantiers Ecoles and doing shopping at Old Market & colonial quarter, take your time to enjoy a busy market day, communicating with the local sales and all sorts of their products. It's quite a sight to see, to give somewhat a picture of Cambodian social living.

A Glowing Welcome

Upon check-in at your Hotel, guest's will discover a 'welcome card' hanging on their doorknob, giving instructions for the guest to enjoy a relaxing scrub using special aromatherapeutic lotion as Traditional Cambodia Therapeutic Healing Massage. The card will also ask the guest to dial a number for the massage. Masseuse will be at their beck and waiting at guest's convenience during the whole stay in Siem Reap.

Dinner : Welcoming buffet dinner with 'Apsara Dance' in the Apsara Theatre

For those delegates thirsting for cultural highlights of Cambodia, No visit to Cambodia is complete without attending at least one traditional Khmer dance performance, often referred to as 'Apsara Dance' after one of the most popular Classical dance pieces. Traditional Khmer dance is better described as 'dance-drama' in that the dances are not merely dance but are also meant to convey a story or message.

Full Day Tour

After buffet breakfast, enjoy a typical fullday excursion to discover Angkor Temples.

Transfer by A/C coach to the Angkor area then firstly, you will visit the wonderful Angkor Wat – one of the seven greatest architectural wonders of the world, as a temple and mausoleum for King Suryavarman II at the peak of the Khmer empire in the first half of 12th, Angkor Wat is probably the best-preserved of the Angkorean temples, with a central tower surrounded by four smaller towers. The central monument represents the mythical Mount Meru, the holy mountain at the centre of the universe, which was home to the Hindu God Vishnu. The whole complex covers 81 hectares, a rectangular wall measuring 1025 metres by 800 metres borders the inner edge of the moat, and temple's greatest sculptural treasure is its 2 km-long bas-reliefs around the walls...

Lunch : set menu lunch on western cuisine standards in a high-class riverside restaurant on the second floor is an elegant open space with modern colonial, there is FCC (Foreign Correspondent's Club). Its glowing white, modern cube of the FCC is a bit jarring canal-side in the center of Siem Reap.

Proceeding to visit Angkor Thom (the Great City) including the Southern Gate, famous Bayon temple (12th century in the center of city remains one the most enigmatic temples of the Angkor group composed of 54 gothic towers decorated with 216 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara; Baphuon temple lying just to the north of Bayon a pyramidal representation of mythical Mont Meru; Terrasse of Elephants used as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king's grand audience hall ; Terrace of the Leper King  a plateform 7m high, on the top stands a nude though sexless statue; Phimean Akas temple means "Celestial Palace", dedicated to Hinduism.

In the late afternoon, coming to the Phnom Bakheng temple, is the first temple in Angkor region build by the YacovarmanI King in the first of 9th century, the group will enjoy elephan riding up to the Phnom Bakheng hill, where the temple located on a slope gently hill that thousands worldwide tourist are grouping on the hilltop to catch a memorable time of life when viewing the marvellous sunset. Back to hotel and free at leisure until group dinner inside hotel.

Dinner : will take place inside your accommodation. Late Night Buffet Dinner under the stars at the poolside in the magic of RAFFLES GRAND HOTEL D'ANGKOR or SOFITEL PHOKEETHRA ROYAL ANGKOR GOLF & SPA RESORT. Traditional live music and live show or back-round music would may available as seasoning.

Day 3

Full Day Tour

(by A/C car, motor-cycles)

A continuing fullday tour for Angkor complex, you will not use the A/C coach instead of the motor-cycles for transfers in the morning.

All group will experience the wind-swept transfers particularly by motor-cycles from the hotel to the Angkor temples, there are 4 people per motor-cycle, enjoy an exciting morning in the ancient Angkor enviroment and the most popular transfer locally of Cambodia. Visit Thommanon, small, attractive temple in very good condition, built at the same time as Angkor Wat. It's Angkor Wat style is most easily seen in the style of the carved apsaras and the shape of the tower, Chaosay Tevoda, it seems to stand in partnership with Thommanon but actually was built much later in Suryavarman II's rule than Thommanon, Banteay Kdei, Srash Srong. Then visit Kravan & especially Ta Phrom Temple, was a monastery built by Jayavarman VII as a residence for his mother. Ta Prohm has been controversially left to the destructive power of the jungle by French archeologists to show how nature can destroy man's work. It has been largely overgrown by the jungle and as you climb through the dilapidated stone structures you see many giant trees growing out of the top of the temple itself. Ta Prohm looks as many of the monuments did when European explorers first laid eyes on them.

Lunch : set menu lunch on the true Indochina cuisine standards in an old wooden building was built 70 years ago and it gives an old fashioned ambience to the place who remind a
colonial atmosphere – Café Indochina Restaurant.
The set-menu is eclectic items of Thai, Cambodian, Vietnamese cuisines.

After that, excursion to Grand Circuit, visit Pre Rup, traditionally believed to be a funerary temple, but in fact the state temple of Rajendravarman II. Mebon, architecturally and artistically superior temple-mountain. Beautifully carved false doors on upper level as well as an excellent view of the surrounding countryside. Tasom, the most distant temple on the grand circuit. Small but classic Jayavarman VII temple, Neak Pean, which means 'coiled serpents', from the encoiled nagas that encircled the temple. The temple is faced by a statue of the horse, Balaha, saving drowning sailors and Preah Khan, 'Preah Khan' means 'sacred sword'. In harmony with Ta Prohm, which was dedicated to Jayavarman VII's mother, Preah Khan is dedicated to his father.

Dinner : will take place in a converted traditional wooden home on buffet of the finest authentic Khmer- and Thai-influenced cuisine. It is Madame Butterfly restaurant, the setting is very pleasant and alone worth a visit., seating is in low rattan chairs, and the decor is characterized by a tasteful collection of Buddhist and Khmer artifacts. Candlelight mingles with mellow indirect lighting, and the whole effect is casual and romantic.

This morning, after breakfast, transfer to the Siem Reap airport for a short flight to Phnom Penh by FT991 at 09.25-10.15.

Airport Procedure: In the early morning, our assistances will bring the tickets to the airport for pre check-in and seat family assignment. Not-handcaring Luggages will be sent to airport with separate truck before the group and will be registered. Each passenger must identify his baggages before sending to the belts.

Phnom Penh - the city retains its traditional Khmer and colonial charm. French villas along tree-lined boulevards remind the visitor that the city was once considered the gem of Southeast Asia. Recent political changes have triggered an economic boom of sorts, with new hotels, restaurants, bars and nightclubs springing up around the city.

Our friendly Cambodian tour guide will welcome and transfer you to the center of Phnom Penh, photo-stop at Independence Monument - the Independence Monument commemorates the end of Cambodia’s ruled by France in 1953, which was constructed in 1954 after Cambodian took their country back from French colony. Continue transfer for visit to the National Museum, the distinctive red building with a beautiful Khmer architecture was build since 1917 and contains more than 5000 art objects made of sandstone, bronze, silver, Copper, wood and others. They are really the cultural treasure of Cambodian.

Lunch : buffet lunch on International cuisine standards in Cambodiana Hotel, its high-class riverside restaurant offer a spectacular view to the sources of Mekong Rivers, enjoy a good noon-time on the true Oriental setting and Cambodia masterpieces.

Then transfer to hotel for check in with room-key and welcome drink have been ready, a short time for resting right after.

Afternoon, continue to enjoy a sightseeing tour of the charming city with the most attractions of Cambodia. Visit to the Royal Palace compound, was built by King Norodom in 1866, inside its gleaming yellow walls are most conspicuous feature and impressive colorful Khmer-style Halls for the Royal family, then visit Silver Pagoda, located in the compound of the Royal Palace. Inside its floor is constructed of 5000 silver tiles. In the center of the pagoda there is a magnificent 17th-century emerald Buddha statue made of baccarat crystal and its walls enclosing are covered with frescoes depicting episodes from the Khmer version of the Ramayana.

Dinner : will take place inside your accommodation. Late Night Buffet Dinner under the stars at the poolside in the magic of RAFFLES HOTEL LE ROYAL or INTER-CONTINENTAL PHNOM PENH. Traditional live music and live show or back-round music would may available as seasoning.

Day 5

PHNOM PENH

After breakfast, we continue to experience Phnom Penh and its pathetic history.

Transfer to visit Killing Field (Choeung Ek), the memorial at Choeung Ek just outside Phnom Penh. During the Khmer Rouge regime it became one of the killing fields the site of the brutal executions of more than 17,000 individuals. After that come back to visit S-21 or Tuol Sleng prison (Genocide Museum) was the most secret organ of the KR regime. S-21 stands for "Security Office 21." S-21 was Angkar's premier security institution, specifically designed for the interrogation and extermination of anti Angkar elements.

After that, transfer back to Phnom Penh and visit Wat Phnom Temple - a small hill crowned by an active Wat (pagoda) marks the legendary founding place of the Phnom Penh, today Wat Phnom remains the highest artificial hill in Phnom Penh and the center of many forms of leisure activity. 

Lunch : set menu lunch on Thai-Khmer cuisine standards in a riverfront view at a very friendly little Thai restaurant. Chiang Mai Riverside Restaurant that its atmosphere is unexpectedly charming -weathered plaster walls hung with gilt-framed Khmer paintings.

The best and most stylish way as far more charming to see Phnom Penh and to take in the sights and sounds of Phnom Penh is by Cycle ( a tricycle ), your people will enjoy 1 hour cycle tour along the Tonle Sap riverfront to watch the daily lives of the people living on and around the busy areas, the Tonle Sap riverfront is an institution among Phnom Penhois, is a bustling promenade and home to many international style bars and restaurants, many of them set in restored colonial villas dating back to the 19th century. The riverfront is also a focus for the city's major festivals...let enjoy a magnificent sunset, when the reflected rays of the setting sun cast a golden glow across the river.

Rest of the day, is saved for have a look at Toul Tompong Market (called Russian Market), so-named because of the prevalence of items from the Eastern Bloc in past times, the Russian Market today is a treasure trove for tourists, that you will feel a bustling daily life of local people with Cambodian's special character through local specialities, their houses, their face Back to your hotel and free at leisure for your own hobbies.

Dinner: set menu dinner on Western cuisine standards in the beautiful restaurant and bar of FCC (Foreign Correspondent's Club), you will enjoy the restored French colonial ambiance on the first floor or rooftop bars overlooking the Tonle Sap River, there is really a piece of classic Phnom Penh charm.

After breakfast, check-out then overland transfer to Sihanoukville – "Beach town", "fledgling resort destination" is Cambodia's premier beach town. Sihanoukville's white sand beaches and warm Gulf of Thailand waters combine with a laid-back, beachy atmosphere to provide a great little tropical gateway. Still, the pace of life in Sihanoukville is very relaxed, cows occasionally wander the main road, outside town foreign faces draw smiles and curious stares. On the way, you might stop for a refreshment break at one of the road side at Pich Nil near the half way point.

Lunch : picnic lunch in box at one of the road side at Pich Nil

Arrive Sihanouville, check-in and followed-up is a quick round of Sihanoukville.

Transfer to visit the downtown area, strolling arround the quarter, see the market, the old shoping streets and some busy roads in the down town. Visit the St Michael's church, constructed in 1962, served local Catholics until 1975, from 1975-1979 the church was used as a prison, you would note the "ship sail" brickwork at the front and the boats on the sides, designed by renowned Cambodian architect, Van Molyvann, who also designed the Independence Monument and Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh, and the 1960's State Residence in Sihanoukville. Finally, visit The Fishing Port. Its wooden quay and surrounding village are a whirl of color and activities. A photogenic place while the fishing boats stream out of this port every night before sunset – an amazing sight.

After breakfast, you would be free at leisure until the time of check-out and drive back to Phnom Penh, straight-up to Pochentong airport for a departure flight back home. Have a safe trip come home!

Luggage Procedure: Except the hand-caring luggages, your check-in suitcases will be transferred to aiport by the separate trucks, you will leave your suitcases for the bell-boys right before check-out, just get in the buses and enjoy tour programe today. Suitcases will be transferred to the aiport and waiting your arrival after the tour. Each passenger must identify his baggages before leaving.

Check-out procedures: Please note that standard check out time is 12.00 and late check out is subject to room availability. Hotel can guarantee late check out at 50% of the room rate or full charge as depend on the state at that time. We can eventually deal with the hotel in order to guarantee few rooms at disposal of the group, but it is always subject to room availability at the time of check out.
